The Brief
Create key art for this Natural History series that inspired and engaged family audiences, while reinforcing the BBC’s reputation for leading landmark factual content. The image had to capture the drama of the (multiple) characters’ daily lives and draw audiences into their world.
Campaign Concept
One Place, One shared story.
Following a visual structure similar to a multiple ensemble drama. A hero animal becomes a housing device for multiple vignettes featuring the rest of the cast. Following the success of Series 1, the style was then built upon to create brand recognition.
